Prepreg Equipments

Sinotextile has developed different types of prepreg equipments for high-performance fibers and fabrics.

Our prepregging machine can be customized with a working width from 300 mm to 1600 mm. Machine supports a resin coating range from 5 g/m² to 1000 g/m², with a typical coating amount of 30 g/m² controllable to ±1 g. For UD products, the fiber areal weight can range from 10 g/m² to 1200 g/m², and resin content uniformity can reach ±0.5%. Fiber weight and resin content can also be produced to customer specifications. The equipment is compatible with a wide range of hot-melt resin systems, including toughened epoxy, halogen-free flame-retardant resins, polyurethane, high-temperature resin systems, and phenolic resins.
