Carpet, agriculture, military and geotextile production all create demand for super-wide fabric that standard looms cannot handle. Rapier, air jet, water jet and projectile looms typically top out around 4 meters wide, but our platform scales from 4 to 50 meters, fully customizable.
A special weft insertion system lets the loom weave fabric at double the width of its reed, a technique long used on shuttle looms but rare among rapier machines: a 7-meter reed, for example, produces 13.5 meters of finished fabric.
For the same fabric output, a wider loom occupies less floor space and consumes less energy than running multiple standard-width machines in parallel, while a versatile crank-and-cam beat-up system adapts to light, medium and heavy fabrics.
